Hot Meal Plan
Wills Primary offers a HOT MEALS PROGRAM to our students at an additional cost. The plan varies from term to term. A detailed list of the meals offered will be sent home in your chld’s homework book within the first week of the new term.
The following is the Spring 2009 term MENU:
Menu
Everyday: Hamburger $5.00 or Cheeseburger $5.50
Everyday except Tuesday:
Subs (Tuna, Hot Hero, Veg, Roast Beef ) $8.50
Nuggets 3pc w/fries $6.50 or 5 pc w/fries $8.50
Sides Macaroni Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Rice and Peas, Garlic Bread, Fries $3.50/$4.50
Salads Potato, Cole Slaw $3.00
Extras Hotdog and Crisps $5, Drum Stick $3, Snack Box (2pc w/fries) $13
Monday: Chicken Chow Mein $5.50/$7.00
Tuesday:
Spaghetti with meat sauce or meatless sauce $5.50/$7.00
Fish Cutter: $5.00
Fish Alone: $3.50
Ham Cutter: $5.00
Cheese Cutter: $4.50
Ham & Cheese Cutter: $6.00
Wednesday: Shepherds Pie $5.50/$7.00
Thursday: Chicken Lasagne $5.50/$7.00 (no Macaroni Pie available Thursday)
Friday: Pizza Cheese $5.00 or Pepperoni $5.50
Healthy Snacks
In keeping with the request made by the Ministrt of Education’s ‘Healthy kids Program’, Wills Primary School asks that parents/guardians only send healthy snacks in their child’s lunch box.
We encourage you NOT to send the following food/beverage items:
Soft drinks, Orange/Red dye products, Corn Curls, Big Foot, Chocolates or Candied Sweets, Starburst, Skittles, Fruit Roll Ups or Gummies, Cream Filled Biscuits, Tea Time, Oreos etc…, Peanuts, peanut butter, or peanut products.
Here is a list of suggested food/beverage items:
Plain potato chips, Chex Mix, Fruit, Vegetables, Yogurt, Go Ahead Snacks, Granola Bars without peanuts, Plain popcorn, Olvaltine Buscuits, Plain Digestive Biscuits, Dried Fruit, Cheese and Crackers, Breadsticks, Ritz Crackers with Cheese.
