ADMISSIONS POLICY

 

 

Transferring from another school to Wills Primary School:

 

Students transferring to Wills Primary School from another school must present a recent report card from the previous school attended as well as a reference letter from the Principal.  The package also should include any other pertinent documents to facilitate registration and placement of students.

 

Non National/Caricom Students are required to have a valid 

Student Visa upon entering the school.

 

REMISSION OF FEES:

 

The Board of Management may grant remission of fees if:

 

 ( a) any student is absent for the whole term on account of illness, and a Doctor’s Certificate or other satisfactory evidence is given to the school with a due notification of the student’s absence.

 

(b) The Principal is duly notified that the student will be absent from the Island together with her/ his parents for a whole term, provided that a term’s fee is paid no later than the first day of the term that student is absent.  This fee will be credited to the following term.  Should the student not return, the fee will cover a term’s notice of removal.

 

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE

A copy of your child/children’s birth certificate or equivalent (baptismal certificate, passport or hospital certificate) to give the evidence of Immigrant status.

 

An up to date health certificate (Immunization Card) filled out by a physician.

Completion of the requirements of the Ministry of Health Department regulations should be indicated in this health card/health certificate.  Regulations require that all children entering school for the first time should have a physical examination and current immunization for tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, poliomyelitis, rubella, measles and mumps.
